Navy gains key defensive commit in Liberty’s Trevor Harris

NCAA Football: Notre Dame vs Navy Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

Trevor Harris- DE, Liberty HS, Bethleham, PA

Trevor Harris visited Annapolis in the summer but just recently announced his commitment to the Naval Academy. After starting off the season slow battling injuries, in his first eight weeks of the season, Harris recorded 62 tackles and 12 sacks and recently had two sack-fumbles in Liberty’s upset over PA rival Freedom (yes, Liberty defeated Freedom and it involved a service academy commit). The 6’3” 235-pound senior was originally committed to Lehigh but ultimately decided to flip to Navy favoring the demand of service academy life. Harris’ athleticism on defense will soon look to disrupt the high-powering offenses of the AAC West.

Army West Point

Alijah Curtis - QB, McKinley HS, Canton, OH

Alijah Curtis continues to shine at quarterback in the land of the National Football League Hall of Fame - Canton, OH. The McKinley Bulldogs have their first round playoff game this Friday night against Solon High School in the OHSAA Region 1 Quarterfinals. Curtis will look to continue his success under center where he averages over 200 passing yards per game to pull off the road win. Curtis has served as a two-year captain and at only 5’9” is a true dual-threat quarterback that will find his way to making an impact for Army West Point in the future.

Air Force

Bo Richter - DE/LB, Naperville North HS, Naperville, IL

The Air Force Falcons gained an impressive athlete on the recruiting trail last week after earning the commitment from Bo Richter last week. Richter is a multi-sport athlete who excels on the football field where the Air Force commit has 52 tackles and four sacks in just nine games of work this season. While Richter shines defensively as a DE/LB, the 6’3” 230-pound senior has also contributed 23 receptions this year with three touchdowns and a 16 yards-per-catch average for the Naperville North Huskies.
