This week’s update will also include the NCAA’s latest ranking structure, NET, which replaces the previous RPI. NET ranks all 353 teams in D1 basketball.
Men’s Weekly Update
Army (2-5 overall; 1-1 since last update)
Army managed to earn its second win of the season last week with a 91-40 win over DIII SUNY Maritime. The Black Knights were led in scoring by freshman guard Josh Caldwell with 11 points and junior forward Matt Wilson collected 10 rebounds in the contest.
Army followed that victory with a thirty-point loss at Miami (OH) where the Redhawks pulled out an 85-55 victory. Jordan Fox really came to life in the loss by scoring 15 points and was complimented with a complete performance by Thomas Funk who contributed 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in the Black Knight’s fifth loss of the season.

Navy (2-3 overall; 0-1 since last update)
The Midshipmen suffered a disappointing 75-51 loss on the road at Morgan State last week. Navy shot only 34% from the field while the Bears were able to find considerable success behind the arc going 10 for 19 from 3PT range. Hasan Abdullah and Cam Davis managed double digit points, 11 and 10 respectively, but senior forward George Kiernan struggled to get going shooting just 1 of 6 from the floor.

Air Force (2-4 overall; 0-1 since last update)
The Falcons had the most challenging task of the week when they hosted PAC-12 Colorado this past Saturday. The Buffaloes prevailed in the contest with a 93-56 win which featured a Falcons squad that went 1 for 13 from three point land and shot only 54% from the charity stripe. A.J. Walker led the Falcons in scoring with 13 points.
