Bowl projections: It looks like Army is going to be playing in Texas. But against who?

Army’s football team didn’t play last weekend, but the Black Knights remain ranked in the Coaches and AP polls. That’s pretty awesome, considering it had been 22 years since Army was last ranked.

However, just because Jeff Monken’s team is ranked doesn’t mean they’ll play in major bowl game. It would be an absolute shocker to see the Black Knights playing on New Year’s Day, and our Justin Mears explains why in this piece.

Still, Army is 9-2, No. 23 in the AP and No. 25 in the coaches poll. They’re armed with the second-best rushing offense in the nation and we’ll be seeing them on the field at some point in late December.

The question remains, when? Where? And against who?
