This weekend, the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, FL. and the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. saw their fair share of service academy athlete participation.
East-West Shrine Game
Navy’s Malcom Perry and Army’s Elijah Riley appeared in the East-West Shrine Game. And unsurprisingly enough, while Perry was listed on the offensive roster as a wide receiver, that didn’t stop him from bringing the triple option to this bowl game.
In true Perry fashion, he was able to escape defenders and run 58 yards for a touchdown.
