The matchup between the Black Knights and the Falcons is officially back on.
Army and Air Force will face off on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Michie Stadium. It was originally scheduled for Nov. 7. But like many other collegiate sports, the decision to postpone it came after the Air Force Academy announced an “upwards trend” of Covid-19 cases.
Both teams have experienced a whirlwind of schedule changes. This week, the Mountain West Conference announced Air Force-Colorado State would be canceled, without rescheduling due to the Coronavirus, the second of two cancellations for the Falcons.
As it stands, Air Force (2-2) will see Utah State (0-4), before heading to Michie Stadium. Meanwhile, Army-Navy is on the docket for the Black Knights (7-2) in the weeks to come.
A decision on fan attendance for CIC game has yet to be announced. For now, fans can watch it on CBS Sports Network at 3 p.m. ET.
